Chicory seeds

Chicoseeds supplies chicory seeds to the professional market. These are seeds with a high germinative capacity and uniform size. Moreover, the chicory seeds supplied by Chicoseeds, with the exception of untreated seeds, are usually primed. The germination process has already been activated in primed seeds, in order to obtain faster or more uniform emergence after sowing. Seeds are sold in units of 100,000. The most commonly used seed form is the pelleted seed.

• Bare, untreated seed has its natural brown colour and is suitable for use in organic cultivation.
• Coated seed is treated with a film coating that gives the seed a colour. The seed is therefore dust-free and easier to sow. Additives can also be included in the coating.
• Pelleted seed is covered in a pill, which makes it a little bigger and heavier. The sowability is therefore even better.

Seeds, especially the primed ones, have a limited shelf life. Primed seeds should be stored in cool, dry conditions and are intended for sowing in the season of delivery.
